MGVC Enters Top-10 Gaming Venture Funds List

Over the past year, MGVC invested in 12 studios and consolidated two.

Analytical firm Games One compiled the list of top venture capital funds investing in gaming studios and companies. MY.GAMES Venture Capital (MGVC), the investment division of gaming brand MY.GAMES, took 7th place.

List of funds and their volumes:

  • Galaxy Interactive — $260 mln

  • Griffin Gaming Partners — $235 mln

  • Makers Fund — $200 mln

  • Bitkraft Ventures— $183.5 mln

  • Hiro Capital — $150 mln

  • London Venture Partners — $138 mln

  • MGVC — $100 mln

  • March Gaming — $60 mln

  • Konvoy Ventures — $60 mln

  • VGames — $60 mln

  • Transcend Fund — $50 mln

  • Play Ventures — $40 mln

The MGVC investment fund was launched in 2017, its volume currently reaches $100 mln. In four years, MGVC has concluded dozens of deals - at the moment, the fund's portfolio includes 35 studios. In 2020, MGVC helped 12 studios with investments and consolidated two - BeIngame and Deus Craft. Since then, BeIngame's revenue grew 1.8-fold, and Deus Craft's revenue increased 1.4-fold. The two studios’ games Zero City and Grand Hotel Mania entered the list of top-10 titles in the MY.GAMES portfolio (ranking 6th and 4th, respectively). Grand Hotel Mania ranks second globally among mobile games in the time management category on iOS and Android in terms of revenue.
