Luna’s Diary: Adventures in the Seven Realms

Hey, adventurers—Luna, here! Are you ready to check out the beautiful, fun, and downright dangerous realms that await you? 

As Niko and I journey through The Magical World, I’ve been making notes on each zone we visit to help out our fellow travelers. I hope this helps—watch out for Cobrings! 

Let’s go!

Skyward Falls

Expect: What a location to start our adventure off with! This tropical island is beautiful and has a dense jungle and ancient temples. Niko didn’t seem to appreciate the natural beauty surrounding us—typical! 

Watch Out For: The water has risen in some areas… there might be a dam somewhere. Skywards Falls is an area fitting its name, with rivers and waterfalls. Marine life can be dangerous though, so take care if you dare to delve into the water. 

Encounter: Look out for small Cobrings, hedgehogs, and Cobring drillers seeking treasure! We were almost taken out by one of those spiky guys!

Cobring Mines

Expect: The mines are a scary place… deep caves full of convoluted passages, spiky minerals, and abandoned mining carts that you can use... at your own risk. Some parts are flooded, but you will have friends to help you through, just like I have Niko! 

Watch Out For: Beware, they say a dragon dwells in the depths... 

Encounter: A word of warning for adventurers—the Boss smashes everything in its path and cuts its way through rocks with ease, so you’d be wise to avoid it. 

Sky Vines

Expect: We left the caves and reached the surface to find it was covered in rock formations, among which were beautiful wooden huts - watch out for the brambles! They were stuck in my fur for days!

Watch Out For: You may come across waterfalls of poisonous water, and you don't want to know the source of them… I’m still shuddering.

Encounter: Brigadier, birds, brambles, and more. All in all, it’s a swinging good time!

Snowland

Expect: Brr! Marvel at this frigid world with its beautiful sunsets and snowstorms. Thankfully, neither Niko or I feel the cold very much. 

Watch Out For: Caves flooded with icy water, geysers, and steep cliffs were a bit of a peril, but no match for Niko’s positive attitude and sensational skills (he made me write that…). 

Encounter: Brigadier, crabs, sea creatures, and a terrifying Boss!

Magic Woods

Expect: Magic by name, magic by nature. This fantastical forest complete with giant mushrooms is a wonder to behold and explore. 

Watch Out For: Thorns and large caves with moving rocks that you will have to dodge. Luckily, we had a mount just for this occasion—and you will too! 

Encounter: Spiders, lizards, wasps, and a magical Boss. 

Dry Sea

Expect: This dry and arid world has some green areas that were once a sea full of life. It has a system of pipes that pump water and you will have to use it to your advantage to move forward. I figured out this system quickly, but Niko took a little longer to catch on…

Watch Out For: This world also features a desert full of secrets, with moving platforms and caves full of traps, among other surprises! 

Encounter: Crabs, birds, lizards, and a scaly Boss! 

Cobring Base

Expect: This complex copper factory was the last stop on our tour of this magical world, and was full of dangerous mechanisms that can burn, crush, electrocute or drown you! 

Watch Out For: You will have to overcome moving platforms, dodge lasers, contaminated water and many more hazards. 

Encounter: Lizards, birds, and a big bad Boss!
