Loadout Locker

Troopers, the Loadout Locker feature is here!

Loadout Lockers are located at the back of the initial dropship in AAS, ARC, and Hive Hunt modes. In Horde mode, they’re placed randomly within the build zone for the first two waves before self-destructing. The Loadout Locker lets Troopers adjust their loadout early in a game. But you may wonder why only early on?

Selecting and locking in a loadout is central to the gameplay. Troopers enter missions with limited information about the combat situation and must make strategic choices about their gear. By restricting loadout changes to the early mission phases, we preserve the strengths and weaknesses of each loadout, while offering a bit more quality of life and flexibility.

Each class has unique strengths at different mission stages, so choosing the right equipment and class abilities is important. Engineers and Rangers may excel in the initial phases and resource gathering, while Guardians and Demolishers are crucial during the final siege. Troopers need to play smart, adapt, and rely on their teammates to cover each loadout’s limitations.

We’ve listened to feedback on frustrating class selection situations, especially at the start of matches. Now, if you enter as a Sniper and find 15 others have chosen the same role, you can quickly return to the dropship and switch. We believe this is a good compromise, allowing players some flexibility without disrupting the intent of making a committed loadout choice, while avoiding unbalanced team compositions.

Rest assured, any XP you earn applies to the class and weapon you used it with. If you start as a Ranger, kill a few bugs with your Morita MK1, and then switch to a Demolisher with a shotgun, you’ll receive Ranger and Morita XP for those initial kills and Demolisher and shotgun XP for the remainder of the match.

Company Stats

It’s time to track your team’s achievements like never before! Our new Company Stats feature provides high-level insights into your Company’s accomplishments and highlights its strength in the ongoing fight against the Bug menace. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Intel Gained: Check out the total Intel your Company has gathered, showcasing your members’ strategic skills as they complete missions and boost Company resources.
  • Company Operations Completed: See the number of Company Operations your team has successfully finished. From defending the ARC to launching full-scale Assault and Secure missions, this stat captures every hard-fought victory.
  • Company Operations Created: Keep track of the Company Operations initiated by your Officers. This stat reflects the ambition and activity of your leaders as they strategize to take on new challenges.
  • Victory Points Earned: Your Company’s total Victory Points from all Galactic Fronts—a testament to your group’s impact on the battlefield. This number embodies your Company’s dedication to overcoming every threat.

This is just the beginning! More stats are planned for future updates to help you gauge your Company’s growth and strength. Rally your Company and let your achievements shine!
