As we approach the end of 2024, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your unwavering support and passion for Starship Troopers: Extermination has been a driving force behind everything we've accomplished this year. Whether you've been slaying Arachnids, providing feedback, or sharing your experiences, you’ve helped shape the game into what it is today.
With the holiday season upon us, I hope you all enjoy some well-deserved time with loved ones, and that it’s filled with joy, relaxation, and perhaps more than a few epic battles in the game!
Recapping the Journey Since Launch
Since the launch, we've been working tirelessly to enhance the Extermination experience. Within days of launch, we rolled out a host of performance fixes to ensure smoother gameplay. Key additions included the highly-requested Search for Company feature, allowing easier team finding. With 1.1 we added the Loadout Locker to give you even more flexibility at the beginning of the match. We also introduced Weapon Mastery for S.O.G., offering new ways to level up and refine your arsenal.
Recent Hotfixes
We also released a hotfix to address issues impacting the game’s performance. This fix tackled a Horde Mode crash some players encountered. We also increased server memory and resolved a few lingering bugs, including the Arc Slam Bug Spawn, which now means more Bugs during Arc Slam. Thank you to all who reported these issues and continue reporting bugs, as it has helped us quickly identify solutions to continue improving the game.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are incredibly excited about what’s to come. We've been hard at work, planning a stellar year full of updates, optimizations, and quality-of-life improvements that will make your experience even better. Our team is dedicated to making the game run smoother, faster, and more enjoyable for everyone, and we can’t wait to share all of these exciting updates with you.
