GLYPH SOCKET UNLOCKING FOR GOLD

With this version, the game gets as many as three new units – the Order Knight, the Jester and the Storm Owl – and all of them join in with full sets of Glyphs.
We decided to make the process of unlocking Glyph sockets easier, so that you would be able to spend less time before gaining access to Glyphs and starting to use them in battle after upgrading a unit. To unlock Glyph slots, you no longer need minerals – only gold, and in much smaller quantities than before:
Level 9 – 2,500 gold
Level 11 – 5,000 gold
Level 13 – 10,000 gold
Level 15 – 20,000 gold
To replace a Glyph in a socket, you will still need minerals. The replacement process costs 250 minerals and 1000 gold.
That said, receiving a Legendary Glyph will be harder:
— the chance of a Legendary Glyph dropping is reduced to 0.2%;
— the chance of a Legendary Glyph will be increasing after every 200 spins.
ORDER KNIGHT VS. JESTER

The units in the Card Foretelling and Mirror Match events have been changed. You can now receive one of the new units, the Order Knight, in the Card Foretelling event, and the Jester becomes available in the Mirror Match.
The Candle and Jotun units have been removed from the list of rewards in these events. Like the Undertaker, they will be available from the Star of the Week event, though.
ORDER KNIGHT

Meet the Order Knight! This brave melee fighter belongs to the Valiant Order faction, and he’s ready to declare war upon crime and lawlessness!
Abilities
The Order Knight throws a Glaive of Justice that deals heavy damage to all enemies in its path. At the Star merge ranks, he throws two of these Glaives, which hit a large part of the arena.
Battle Boosts
— Using the ability reduces all damage the Order Knight will take for the next 5 seconds.
— Attack and movement speed of all enemies hit with the Knight’s Glaives is reduced for 5 seconds.
Important: The Order Knight receives only epic Battle Boosts if the opponent’s deck includes the Jester (this is why the epic boosts are mentioned twice in the unit’s description).
Glyphs
The Order Knight appears in the game with a full set of Glyphs. The unique legendary Glyph grants him the following bonuses:
— Increases attack damage by 40%;
— Increases attack speed by 20%;
— When the Order Knight has 30% health remaining, he summons a murder of crows that protect the Knight and peck at the enemies in a small radius.
How to receive?
The unit will be available in the Card Foretelling event! The first launch of this event with the new unit will be on November 20th.
JESTER

The Jester is a mischievous trickster from the Evolution Alliance! He is using modern technology to sow chaos and destruction.
Abilities
The Jester leaps back from the fray and bombards his enemies with grenades. At the Star Merge rank, he uses gas grenades that poison his targets. While using the ability, he also becomes immune to control effects.
Battle Boosts
— When attacking, the Jester has a chance to weaken the targeted enemy, who will be receiving 20% extra damage for 3 seconds.
— The Jester’s attacks deal more damage to poisoned enemies.
Important: The Jester receives only epic Battle Boosts if the opponent’s deck includes the Order Knight (this is why the epic boosts are mentioned twice in the unit’s description).
Glyphs
The unit joins the game with a full set of Glyphs. The unique legendary Glyph gives the Jester the following bonuses:
— Increases attack damage by 40%;
— Increases attack speed by 20%;
— Upon death, the Jester leaves behind a cloud of harmful gas, poisoning enemies for 2 seconds. The poisoned enemies take 200% damage from the Jester’s attacks, while their own attack speed and the damage they deal are reduced by 20%.
How to receive?
The unit will be available in the Mirror Match event! The first launch of this event with the new unit will be on November 24th.
STORM OWL

The Storm Owl is the elemental master from the Enchanted Forest who charges up and flings lightning at his enemies.
Abilities
Instead of energy, the Storm Owl accumulates charges that increase his attack speed. Once he gathers 5 charges, he morphs into a ball lightning and attacks enemies, dealing area damage. While using his ability, the Storm Owl becomes invulnerable.
At merge rank 3, the Storm Owl attacks one target, while at the Star rank, there will be a total of 3 targets.
Battle Boosts
— When using the ability, the Storm Owl can afflict the enemy with Vulnerability for 3 seconds, increasing the damage dealt to the target by 20%.
— When the Storm Owl is charging up, he has a chance to receive an extra charge.
Glyphs
The unit enters the game with a full set of Glyphs. The unique legendary Glyph gives him the following bonuses:
— Increases attack damage by 40%;
— Increases attack speed by 20%;
— Starting with merge rank 3, the Storm Owl will release small lightning orbs at 3 enemies when dying. These orbs inflict damage equal to 300% of the unit’s attack damage.
How to receive?
The unit will be available as part of the special Starseeking event that starts on November 21st. Complete the event quests, spin the roulette − and get the new warrior for your team!
After appearing in the game, the Storm Owl will be joining the Multifaction for 60 days – which means he will be receiving Faction blessings every week, as well as gaining an additional stat boost of 15%.
CHAMPIONS’ GAMBIT

The Champtions’ Gambit is a special tournament held every week among the top 500 players of the Captain’s Gambit. Among the tournament’s rewards, you will find unique cosmetics: colored nicknames, avatars, titles and banners, as well as fragments of epic heroes, gold and minerals.
Send your crews out in the Captain’s Gambit, claw your way into the Leaderboard of strongest players in the event, and vie for the title of the Legend of the Gambit!
Please note that after the new version is released, the Captain’s Gambit will be put on hold until the next Saturday. After that, the event will be held according to the following schedule:
— Saturday to Wednesday: Captain’s Gambit, the common Leaderboard of the event is formed;
— Thursday and Friday: Champions’ Gambit for those who got into the Top-500 as a result of the selection. The rest of the players will be able to play the usual Captain’s Gambit on these days.
