NEW UNIT: THE FOOTBALLER
A true star enters the arena! The Footballer is a ranged combatant who is used to playing in a team — every ally on the battlefield increases the damage he deals.
Ability
At merge rank 3, the Footballer performs a free kick against the strongest of the opponent’s units. The ball deals area damage and repulses enemies around the area of impact.
At the Star merge rank, the Footballer performs a penalty shot: he teleports to the lower part of the arena and sends the ball forward with a powerful strike. The ball flies across the entire field and out of it, dealing damage and repulsing everyone it hits along the way.
Battle Boosts
− Gains additional energy for each ally on the battlefield;
− After using the ability, the Footballer deals area damage with his next attack, striking multiple targets at once.
Glyphs
The Footballer will have Glyphs available to him. The personal, unique Legendary Glyph gives him the following bonuses:
− Increases attack damage by 40%;
− Increases attack speed by 20%;
− The Footballer’s fans may go into a frenzy and start lobbing trash at the enemies affected with his ability, which causes additional damage at random.
Where to find?
The unit will become available as part of the special Starseeking event that starts on January, 22nd. Complete the event quests, spin the roulette − and receive this new fighter for your collection!
After appearing in the game, the Footballer will join the Multifaction for the first 60 days − which mean he will be receiving Faction blessings every week, while also boasting additional 15% to stats.
SECOND CHANCE BLESSING REWORKED
We have revised the logic behind the Second Chance weekly blessing, and now it works differently:
− The chance of triggering resurrection becomes equal to 5% per unit of the Faction of the Week in your deck; maxed out at 25%.
− Now, any unit in your deck may be resurrected − not just ones belonging to the Faction of the Week. Resurrection is possible if there is at least one unit belonging to the Faction of the Week in your deck.
− Resurrection can only trigger once, but the unit is raised with full health.
COSMETICS FOR THE MIGHTIEST PLAYERS
We have added special visual elements for those players who have been with us for a long time, and put great effort in developing their unit collections and Battle Power. Within the next few days, special banner and avatar will be sent, via in-game mail, to those who had over 1000% Battle Power before Update 17.0.
