The special weapon charging mechanic will change in the upcoming update. This will create a unified system, making gameplay more balanced and independent of your chosen difficulty level.
Here is how the new charging system works:
- As zombies are eliminated, your special weapon gradually charges.
- The amount of charge depends directly on the enemy type—defeating stronger opponents yields the most charge.
- In PvP, taking damage also helps charge your weapon.
In PvE, these changes will be noticeable in events where weapons previously charged faster on higher difficulties. You may now expect a more consistent and predictable experience throughout the game.
More significant changes are coming to PvP, where charging speed will increase substantially. Special weapons can now be used much more frequently than before.
This is an important balance adjustment, and it likely won't be the last. We will closely monitor weapon performance and player feedback.
